About Brant Professional Services
A New York firm where institutional expertise meets genuine partnership.
Straightforward Financial Guidance, Down to the Bottom Line.
Brant Professional Services is a New York-based financial consulting firm founded in 2021. We provide CFO services, tax and accounting, capital advisory, and operational consulting to small and mid-sized businesses, nonprofits, high-net-worth individuals, and entrepreneurs across a wide range of industries.
We started this firm because too many clients were getting financial and accounting advice buried under corporate jargon, slow processes, and unnecessary complexity. Our goal is to take the opposite approach: transparent, practical guidance that’s easy to understand and delivers simple solutions.
We also believe in looking at things from approaches other firms overlook. Some of the most valuable insights come from asking unconventional questions or considering possibilities that are too often overlooked — the kind that surface real savings, real liability, or real opportunity that might otherwise go unnoticed.
And when you call us, you reach a person — not an automated menu. No hold music, no button-pressing to navigate to the right department. Our clients talk directly to us, every time.
We Work Like an Insider.
When we’re engaged, we get to know the business the way someone on the inside would — not just the numbers, but also the relationships, the pressures, and the decisions that don’t show up on a balance sheet. This perspective serves as the foundation for our recommendations, rather than applying a generic framework.
In practice, that means building budgeting and forecasting models that actually reflect how the business runs, reviewing the numbers before the board does, and catching the tax exposure before it becomes a problem. The goal is to make sure financial decisions are made with the full picture in mind.
The Right Fit Matters.
Our clients tend to be growth-stage and established businesses, entrepreneurs and founders, high-net-worth individuals with complex tax needs, nonprofit organizations, law firms managing trust accounts, and construction ventures requiring tight financial controls. We’ve worked across a broad range of industries and sectors.
What our clients have in common isn’t their industry or their size — it’s their standards. They hold themselves to high standards, they expect their advisors to think a step ahead, and they want a firm that treats their business with the same care they do.

What Sets Us Apart
The honest answer: we care about the outcome more than the process.
Frequently Asked Questions
A fractional CFO provides the same strategic financial leadership as a full-time CFO — cash flow management, budgeting, financial modeling, lender relationships, and growth planning — but on a part-time or project basis. For most growing businesses, hiring a full-time CFO is premature and expensive. A fractional CFO gives you institutional-grade expertise at a fraction of the cost, engaged only when and how your business needs it.
Timelines depend on the product. Revenue-based financing, MCAs, and short-term business loans can fund in as little as 24–72 hours after approval. SBA loans and equipment financing typically take 2–6 weeks. We work across 100+ lenders and syndicates to match your profile to the right product and speed. Same-day funding is available on select products for qualified applicants.
A merchant cash advance (MCA) is an advance against your future receivables, repaid as a fixed percentage of daily sales. There is no set term — payback accelerates when revenue is high and slows when it is low. A term loan is a fixed lump sum repaid on a set schedule with a defined interest rate. MCAs are faster and more accessible for businesses with limited credit history; term loans typically carry lower effective costs for businesses that qualify. We help you compare both side by side before you commit to anything.
Yes — construction is one of our core verticals. We work with general contractors, subcontractors, specialty trades, and developers across New York. Services include job costing, WIP schedule management, bonding support, draw-cycle cash flow planning, and access to construction-specific financing such as bridge loans, equipment financing, and contract-backed funding. We understand the cash flow challenges unique to the construction billing cycle.
Yes. We serve law firms and solo practitioners with trust account reconciliation, IOLA compliance accounting, partner distributions, payroll administration, and financial planning. For firms that need capital, we can structure financing around contingency fee receivables, case funding, and operating needs — including bridging gaps between retainer income and settlement timelines.
No. There is no cost to apply and no obligation to accept any offer. We do not require a hard credit pull to explore your options. You review any offer in full — including rates, terms, and total cost of capital — before making a decision. We are compensated by lenders only if a deal closes, and that arrangement never influences which options we present to you.
We are based in New York and primarily serve businesses across Long Island (Nassau and Suffolk Counties), New York City (all five boroughs), and the Capital Region (Albany, Saratoga, Troy, and surrounding areas). Many of our services are available remotely for clients throughout New York State and beyond.
There is no hard minimum. We work with businesses from early-stage through established mid-market. For fractional CFO and advisory engagements, clients typically have $500K–$10M in annual revenue. For financing, most lenders in our network require at least 6 months in business and $10,000–$15,000 in monthly revenue, though some programs accommodate earlier-stage businesses. The best starting point is a conversation — we will tell you honestly whether and how we can help.

Financial Consulting & Advisory Services
Fractional CFO, tax preparation, bookkeeping, payroll, funding solutions, and strategic advisory — delivered with precision, discretion, and measurable results.
Brant delivers outsourced CFO leadership at the executive level — providing the financial strategy, governance, and operational oversight that growth-stage and established companies require. We architect the full financial infrastructure: chart of accounts design, ERP integration, multi-entity consolidation, and management reporting frameworks built to institutional standards. We serve as your company’s senior financial voice — in the boardroom, across banking relationships, and at the negotiating table.
Brant serves as a strategic capital advisor — connecting businesses with the right funding at the right terms. We specialize in structuring and facilitating debt and equity transactions, including term loan origination, revolving credit facilities, mezzanine debt, and equity syndication across private and institutional capital markets. Our underwriting background allows us to position your company with precision — anticipating lender objections, stress-testing models, and presenting your business in the most compelling light possible.
Brant manages the full spectrum of tax compliance and financial reporting for individuals and entities across every level of complexity. We handle multi-state and federal filings for high-net-worth individuals, corporations, S-corporations, partnerships, and trusts — maintaining strict GAAP compliance throughout. Our engagements go beyond compliance: we identify structural opportunities, optimize entity architecture, and coordinate across all parties to ensure your tax position is both defensible and advantageous.
Brant serves as a trusted strategic advisor to owners, executives, and boards — providing objective, data-driven guidance on the decisions that define an organization’s trajectory. Our engagements span business valuation, M&A targeting and due diligence, competitive positioning, and enterprise-wide financial planning. We translate complex financial and market data into actionable boardroom-ready strategy aligned with long-term enterprise value creation.
In many industries, compliance isn’t a checkbox — it’s a core operating requirement that determines whether the business can function at all. Brant provides compliance advisory services across both general regulatory frameworks and industry-specific requirements. We help clients in heavily regulated sectors — including cannabis, healthcare, and financial services — build the policies, controls, and reporting infrastructure needed to stay in good standing with regulators and auditors. For businesses across all industries, we strengthen internal controls and operational procedures that protect against fraud, error, and exposure.
Major financial decisions deserve careful, independent review before commitments are made. Brant performs due diligence across the full range of transactions where a client’s money, time, or reputation is on the line — including acquisitions, capital raises, lending decisions, investment opportunities, partnership formations, and major contracts. We dig into the financials, the operations, the obligations, and the assumptions, surfacing the risks, opportunities, and questions that should be answered before the deal closes.
Every modern business runs on technology, but most are using only a fraction of what their systems can do — or are operating on infrastructure that’s outdated, fragmented, or vulnerable. Brant helps clients build the financial technology backbone that supports how they actually operate. From selecting and implementing the right ERP or accounting platform, to automating manual workflows, integrating disconnected systems, and reinforcing the cybersecurity protections that financial data demands, we focus on the technology decisions that drive efficiency, accuracy, and control.
Payroll is among the most compliance-sensitive functions in any organization — carrying exposure across federal, state, and local tax jurisdictions, benefits administration, and employment law. Brant manages end-to-end payroll processing with the accuracy and regulatory precision your employees and business depend on. We handle multi-state registration, payroll tax filings, W-2 and 1099 preparation, and benefits deduction integration.
Clean, accurate books are the foundation of every sound financial decision. Brant maintains meticulous bookkeeping records for businesses of all sizes — providing the financial visibility and discipline that enables confident, data-driven management. Our engagements encompass full-cycle AR and AP management, bank reconciliation, month-end close procedures, and timely financial statements.
Enterprise value is created and destroyed across every function — not only in finance. Brant delivers cross-functional consulting that diagnoses inefficiencies, eliminates value leakage, and engineers the operational and technological infrastructure required for sustainable scale. Our engagements span IT infrastructure optimization, CRM and ERP implementation, marketing ROI analysis, workflow automation, and organizational redesign.
Construction projects carry unique and substantial financial risk — from complex draw schedules and AIA billing to retainage disputes, lien exposure, and subcontractor compliance. Brant provides specialized financial governance for multi-million dollar construction ventures, managing the origination, verification, and notarization of lien waivers, change orders, and COIs to secure absolute first-lien perfection. We govern the full financial lifecycle from groundbreaking through final closeout.
The financial management of a law firm operates under a distinct and demanding regulatory framework. Brant provides specialized financial services for legal professionals — with particular expertise in IOLTA account management, trust accounting, and the rigorous three-way reconciliation requirements mandated by state bar associations. We ensure client funds are handled with absolute precision and that the firm’s records can withstand regulatory scrutiny.
